No material operational capabilities, capacities, and composition percentages of material of this scrap sale are not implied or stated.

Bidders Conference A PRE-SALE CONFERENCE and SITE VISIT (prior to bid opening) will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019, at the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, Office, Orlando International Airport, 8652 Casa Verde Road, Building 811 (Purchasing/Material Control) Orlando, Florida 32803. The conference will include a review of this Bid Document, a question and answer period, and a familiarization visit of the scrap metal site. Bidders are expected to submit a sealed bid, be familiar with this Document, and to provide the Authority with any question(s) regarding this RFQ solicitation. This signed Bid form is to be submitted in a sealed envelope at the close of the conference / site visits. Results shall be opened at 11:00 a.m. for all to have the opportunity to hear the award announcement to the apparent awardee or high bidder. The Authority reserves the right reject any and all quotes/bids. Attendance is not mandatory but highly recommended.

Scope of Work A bidder’s lump sum bid price shall be final. Any associated costs (including disassembling, loading, hauling, associated labor, freight, off-site delivery charges, and any anticipated increases in Bidder's costs during the term of this Contract (transaction period) must be reflected in its bid set forth in its Bidder’s Lump Sum Bid (noted above). The scrap metal shall be moved off Authority property WITHIN APPROXIMATELY EIGHT (8) BUSINESS DAYS or before the close of business on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 after receipt of full payment by check made to the order of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.
