Bidders Conference |
A PRE-SALE CONFERENCE and SITE VISIT (prior to bid opening) will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (Authority), Office, Orlando International Airport, 8652 Casa Verde Road, Building 811 (Purchasing/Material Control) Orlando, Florida 32803. The conference will include a review of this Bid Document, a question and answer period, and a familiarization visit of the scrap metal site. Bidders are expected to submit a sealed bid, be familiar with this Document, and to provide the Authority with any question(s) regarding this RFQ solicitation. |

Scope of Work |
It is the intent of the Authority to seek quotations (bids) for the sale and removal of scrap metal on June 13, 2019. Additionally miscellaneous scrap metal removal service for various types of of scrap metal and other materials are involved. All hazardous waste and related material must be disposed of in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations. The surplus scrap metal shall be removed/transported off the Authority’s OIA property as directed by the Authority’s “AAR”. The total amount of payment to the Authority shall be made in accordance with the submitted written (high bid) lump sum bid amount awarded. The scrap metal shall be removed/transported as soon as possible or before June 29, 2019. |
