Bidders shall download all attached bid document files, complete the documents as requested, save the completed documents under a new name and upload the saved documents to the bid response.'> Bids are requested to furnish and install new office furniture including a sound masking system for the Technology & Change Management Department located at 1 Monroe Center NW, Grand Rapids, MI, as per the specifications & drawings contained herein. The City reserves the right to add or delete individual components subject to availability of funds.

Additional Payment Information - Vendors shall be aware that invoicing shall be accepted only from the contractor as listed on the bid form and subsequent purchase order. Invoices not meeting this requirement shall be discarded.
Additional Information
It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to assure that the information furnished completely and thoroughly addresses all of the specifications contained herein. All furniture, parts and material shall be new, unused, manufacturer's latest model and in current production. Bidders are required to submit complete detailed descriptive and technical literature on each item proposed, warranty, grade, color samples, material samples, and all information requested herein with the bid response. Failure to do so may result in the bid being rejected as non-responsive.

Any formal requests for clarification, questions, or additional information regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 p.m. April 15, 2015 as per the information in the solicit document attached.'>All information in a bidder's proposal and the subsequent contract is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. 1976 no.442, as amended, MCL 15.231 or latest revision thereof.

Pre-Bidders Conference Pre-Bid Meeting/Inspection of Premises:
Vendors may attend the pre-bid meeting on April 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at 1 Monroe Center NW, Grand Rapids MI, Technology and Change Management Department, after which time a site visit will follow. An on-site inspection for verification of scope of project and measurements shall be completed by each bidder at the time of the pre-bid meeting only. Bidders shall be held to have examined the premises and satisfied himself/herself as to the areas, products and services required which he/she shall be obligated to provide, or that in any way affects the work under this contract. No allowance shall be made on behalf of the contractor for any negligence on his/her part.
Scope of Work It is the intent of these specifications to solicit responses to furnish and install new systems furniture, desks, chairs, related items, and sound masking system for the Grand Rapids Technology and Change Management Department located at 1 Monroe Center NW, Grand Rapids MI.
The items proposed to be furnished shall be new, unused, and shall conform in strength, quality of workmanship and material to that which is usually provided by the trade in general. Any variance from the specifications shall be clearly documented in writing by the bidder.
Special Requirements Prior to any bid submittal, bidders shall be held to have examined the premises, verified measurements and satisfied himself/herself as to the areas, products and services required which he/she shall be obligated to provide, or that in any way affects the work under this contract. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection, in behalf of the contractor for any negligence on his/her part.
