Additional Payment Information - Vendors shall be aware that invoicing shall be accepted only from the contractor as listed on the bid form and subsequent purchase order. Invoices not meeting this requirement shall be discarded.

Bidders are required to submit applicable licenses and permits for transportation of goods, complete the questionnaire and all the information requested with the bid; failure to do so may result in the bid being rejected as non-responsive. Pre-Bidders Conference
Scope of Work The City of Grand Rapids desires moving services for election equipment and accessories for approximately three to four elections per year. Awarded Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, tools, packing materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary for round trip transport and placement of specified election equipment for each election. The awarded Contractor shall pick up the election equipment from the central storage facility currently located at 201 Market Avenue SW. The Contractor shall safely and securely deliver election equipment and accessories to various precinct locations within the City and place the equipment as directed. The number and location of precincts is subject to change. Upon completion of the voting process, the Contractor shall pick up the same equipment and accessories from the precinct locations, and safely and securely deliver said equipment back to the central storage facility, as per the specifications contained herein.
Special Requirements Inspection of Voting Equipment:
Voting equipment currently utilized is available for inspection at the central storage facility by appointment only. Prior to submitting bids for his/her work, the Contractor may examine the equipment and satisfy himself/herself as to the existing conditions under which he/she shall be obligated to operate, or that in any way affects the work under this contract. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection, on behalf of the Contractor for any negligence on his/her part. Bidders shall note that current voting equipment utilized may change at any time. The Project Manager, Dawn Kulak, may be contacted at (616) 456-3017 for appointments for the on-site inspection.
